We will have a series of video's that are funny and irreverent about the ways we re-create Jesus in our minds to get from him what we want. We want to be irreverent towards these "Jesus idols" so that we will be more motivated to look for the real Jesus.
The first video is about "Santa Jesus." It is a satire of how we often think God is good only if he gives us what we want.
Can you think of other versions of Jesus that are not consistent with the Jesus of the Bible and history?

How's that series going? I am half way through the book "The Attributes of God" this is a great book and shows how infinite God is and how small we are and the fact that loves us despite how small we are in the over all picture. It is great to come across you again (Former Pathways member) and will be definitely downloading your podcast on this series.
